I really don't know what to teach anymore. Yesterday took me to a totally new level, and it’s important for me to see that people really understand what is going on here. They absorb what is going on here.
I have been very lax in certain things that go against my grain, against my discipline, and my training. I’ve tried to be less dogmatic and fanatic about stuff. But there is a certain limit where discipline is really a very important factor. When class is at 10:30, it should be 10:30. People should leave their home half an hour earlier to get it. You don't have to call and apologize and say, "I'm late."
Stop notifying me what you can't do. Notify me what you can do. Astonish me.
I am not interested anymore. Just astonish me what you can do. Expand. Take this energy. You have to really want to grow and connect to a higher creative force with every cell of your being. For me, I wake up with it and I go to sleep with it. At night, I work. It is what really occupies every minute of my day because I am hungry and I want more.
More of the extraordinary. Not more money and more this and more that. I want more of the extraordinary, of this miracle that is called life on Earth. You have to be so hungry inside where it really takes every second of your day. You can be hungry when you are at work, when you are in the movie, when you are anywhere.
The hunger is this flame.
You have to have this insatiable hunger for this energy to grow, and then miracles happen. A miracle is just a creative energy, the cosmic energy. It is like a touchdown in football. Touching down on physical energy, and then what you call it is a miracle.
In order to get that going, you have to really connect and be so connected to this cosmic force. The cosmos makes these miracles. The cosmic energy touching the physical energy, and you have what you call a miracle. So if you want miracles in your life, really grow inside. You don't have to sit and pray, "Oh, please give me a miracle." You have to work within yourself, and then the cosmos helps.
But you have to really have this need inside. You show this need by your actions. You show it by your actions, not by talk, not by lovey-dovey stuff. I don't care if people love me or don't love me. It doesn't matter to me. Just grow. Otherwise, one day you love me, next day you hate me. I’ve been through the whole stuff. It is not important to me anymore.
Grow, work, and change. Astonish me with changes, not with talk. All I have is a lot of talk. We have to be astonished with people who I look at and I say, "Oh my God, I better get my act together because they are growing and I have to grow too," so I can help them go up and up.
You have to get your need so strong that the problem becomes small. It’s not a trick. It’s a need. You get your need so strong, so overwhelming, that really it burns everything inside you. You put yourself on fire. And all this what seems impossible to traverse, all these problems become just small suddenly. You have to get your need to grow and connect to the higher creative force the predominant part of your life.
If it takes second place or third place, you will still grow, but not the way you want. It has to be the predominant part of your life. And everything else in your life falls into it. It can't be just part of your curriculum. It has to be the predominant part of your life. Everything is included. Nothing is excluded when you have this need, this fire to connect to the higher creative force.
People go to God when things are hard. Everybody cries. There is something called the Wailing Wall. People cry there day and night. Do you think they hear it there? They have cotton wool in their ears. Who wants to hear crying and mourning all the time? But show joy and gratitude even if your life is in a pit. Boy, you will be noticed up there and everything will be sent.
Try and go to God with joy. Offer up joy. You will be heard. Otherwise, you will have cotton wool. Angels have cotton wool. Bring joy and gratitude. You will get so much. Don't just go there crying, "Look at my life. Look at my life."
You have to do it also when things are working better. The test is when things are working. 90% of the people who leave this work is when they came to a place where they can function. You build them up where they can function in life and they are not so crazy, and that is the time to really grow. That is the time when they leave. I see it again and again. The time to leave is when you connect, not when you function in life already.
Now is the time to offer up gratitude and joy to God. It is a time to get even deeper into your spiritual world. Once your problems are over, then what? Then you really can offer everything to God.
Beyond that is deepening. You haven't scratched the surface yet. You are even pre-kindergarten. Rudya has a wonderful saying: "If people realized the shit level they live with and what’s there, they wouldn't be able to survive a day." Thankfully, people don't realize.
Just think when you go to sleep, your soul leaves. Imagine the miracles. Your soul just leaves the body. Imagine doing this in class, letting it all go with a foundation so it always comes back. There is a lot, but you have to finish preschool and kindergarten.
So when you feel good and relaxed, that's the time to deepen your work. Anybody can deepen their work when they feel miserable. Do it when you feel wonderful. I want to offer more joy, more gratitude. Then, you've arrived at a certain level of consciousness.
Show your gratitude, show your joy. Show your actions, not talking.
